The Road to the 49th SEANET Convention (VU4SEA) & VU4 DXpedition 🌴

The DX India Foundation is proud to announce the multi-phase roadmap for the upcoming VU4R Andaman Islands activation. This historic mission combines technical excellence, international collaboration, and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of amateur radio operators.

Phase 1: July 2026 Preparatory Trip & IOTA Contest

A preparatory activation is scheduled from 22nd to 26th July 2026. This phase is critical for logistics, event planning, and site preparation. Coinciding with the RSGB IOTA Contest, the team will operate on SSB and Digital (FT8) only, providing "All-Time New Ones" (ATNOs) to the global DX community.

Phase 2: December 2026 Main Events & SEANET Convention (VU4SEA)

For the first time, the 49th SEANET Meet will be held in Port Blair (following the Sri Lanka Convention). Alongside this, a full-scale international DXpedition will be active from 17th to 30th December.
